From the Designer:
"This design celebrates one of Tasmania's best known animals, the Tasmanian Devil. Featured are motifs inspired by the brilliant red Tasmanian Waratah and the flowers, leaves and gumnuts of Tasmania's floral emblem the Tasmanian Blue Gum. The soft blues, greens and browns reflect the colours of the Tasmanian forests and complement the red details perfectly.
About the Tasmanian Devil:
This unique, intriguing animal is the world's largest surviving carnivorous marsupial. For no known reason, they became extinct on the mainland of Australia about 3000 years ago and currently exist only in Tasmania, Australia's island state.
This design is 100% original and created by hand in Queensland, Australia.
The fabric is 100% wool, lightweight, soft and you really have to wear it to feel how beautiful the experience is".
Little Natives® is proud to support* the principal fundraiser for this iconic animal, the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal.
Funds raised support critical Devil Facial Tumour Disease (DFTD) research and conservation programs, with the vision to secure the future in the wild for the Tassie devil. To find out more or donate please visit www.utas.edu.au/devil
